::eighteen:: uniform of the day

it's my new favorite day of the week!

so time for a confession:

i sort of love ruffles.

but i work in the non-girliest job ever

where almost everyone around me is dressed in seasonal marpat

and has a y chromosome.

so wearing ultra-feminine things like ruffles is a little awkward.

you kinda stick out.

and you can't really play  it off like,

"what? you guys didn't wear yours today?"

but sometimes, you just gotta be yourself.

 - lovely ruffles: j crew - sweater: banana -

 - slacks: generous sister - peep toes: mod cloth -

 - earrings: macy's -

{too bad myself isn't more graceful....

i might've fallen over on that last shot.
